Nancy Pisaruk
Nancy is a practical, business-minded lawyer with an MBA. She focuses her legal practice on representing clients in all types of business transactions, contract review, and corporate governance matters. Prior to joining DDP, she gained experience working for fourteen years with large, national law firms in Phoenix representing a range of clients from entrepreneurs and start-ups to large private and public companies. Nancy also spent four years as a staff attorney with the Securities Division of the Arizona Corporation Commission.
Nancy's greatest joy in her practice is seeing the success of her clients. She particularly enjoys working with companies over the long-term, developing a trusted advisor relationship with her clients, and really getting to know their business. She often begins working with individuals as they begin the start-up process. She assists with choices related to the structure of the entity, helps to recommend and draft appropriate agreements, and to ensure initial corporate governance matters are taken care of.
As clients grow, Nancy continues to be an integral part of the team, taking the time to learn about the business as it grows and changes. She also acts as outside general counsel for long-established companies, large and small, working on a wide variety of day-to-day matters that arise including commercial contracts and ongoing corporate governance matters. Additionally, she frequently helps clients negotiate and close significant transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions and various financing transactions.
